Brian and Alan would like use to try a shorter-topic format for the east
side presenations.

The idea is to have two or three short presentations rather than one long
one. We can still do the long one if a presenter would like.

For our first short-topic presentation Brian will cover something in
Blender, an integrated 3d suite for modelling, animation, rendering,
post-production, interactive creation and playback (games).

We would also like something about OpenOffice.org. It would be really cool
to have something highlighting a feature in 2.0.

We are open to suggestions for a 3rd item, but might just go with two
presentations.

This format has always been a possibility, we just didn't push it. Feel
free to volunteer to do short presentations for the west side meetings as
well.
