When I was in flagstaff their where so few and they where all home grown one line at a time deals. In phx I used The Dump, which was a huge bbs out of Albuquerque New Mexico. They had probably 20 or so Phx dial up lines and nearly 100 in Abq NM. Great place, in addition to email, post boards, file exchange, etc, they also had chat rooms, line triva games, live poker and craps games, and held meet and great events (that where quite wild) It was what I thought was the panicle of BBS before the web hit big.
