Mike, don't chrange distros just because a sound card isn't working. If one distro's kernel can drive the card, then the rest of them can as well. mike enriquez spoke forth with the blessed manuscript: > Thank you everyone on your comments about what I should do about my > sound card problem and Fedora 3. Well I went out to Fry's and purchased > a Sound Blaster Audigy 2zs. Has anyone out there in Linux land tried > this one with linux. It is PCI. I will do as many of you suggested and > change my Bios before installing this card. > This is a dual boot machine with win xp. So I will test it first on xp > then try it out with Fedora 3. Iam opened to the idea of installing > another distro on this computer to work with this card. Any ideas and > comments are welcomed! > Thanks again. > Mike the newbie :) > > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
