I went over to Fry's and started pricing things.

I need to power 6 IDE devices.   That means a 400+ Watt power supply.  

My rule is software good, theory good; administrative chores BAD, hardware 
BAD.

Power supply prices were all over the place and did not seem particularly 
correlated with quality.  I am open to shopping suggestions.
