You can cancel this request... I finally found the correct txt file provided by SuSE called the nvidia installer howto... Thanks, wd0mkr ----- Original Message ----- From: Joshua Bryan To: PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2005 3:27 PM Subject: Nvidia driver with Suse 9.2 Hey guys I need some inside information... I am trying to install the nvidia driver on my newly installed Suse 9.2 64bit computer. I have done all the updates and tried to install almost everything that it allowed me. I have googling for a while and it seems that you have to use yast to get the driver but I have not got a for sure on that. I also read that you have to use sax2 or whatever it's called to update the config file. I have a Nvidia GeForce 6800 Ultra made by PNY tech if that helps. I was wondering if anyone had done something close to this and could explain in detail as I am new to linux what to do... I will continue to look all over the net for this information but I tend to trust you guys a little more as I have never been steered wrong here...
