I have a SanDisk Cruzer (256 MB) and a Micro Advantage (128 MB) drive. Both are USB 2.0. and both have worked well with several Linux distros. The Micro Advantage is easily two to three times faster than the SanDisk--but the SanDisk does have a pretty blue light on the end. (Label: sarcasm.) FWIW, OfficeMax has 128MB Micro Advantage units on sale this week for $19. -mj- shadow wrote: > der.hans wrote: > >> Any brands of USB flash drives to avoid in general? >> >> Any that definitely work with GNU/Linux?
