Matt: Have you considered a nice wikipage? There are so many flavors out there that it can be daunting. I *heartily* recommend Docuwiki -- no SQL backend -- it stores all content on the filesystem. It has great features for building fast, flexible information structures on the fly. That is, if much or most of your stuff is in plaintext. http://www.splitbrain.org/dokuwiki/.
