This happens when your mouse/trackball gets the wrong protocol while being close. The mouse cursor will jump erratically and click random things. Not exactly sure how to fix it on ubuntu but on most distributions you can edit /etc/X11/XF86Config (maybe something like XorgConfig on ubuntu) and look for the mouse section and update to the correct protocol. -Bill On Thu, 2005-02-03 at 14:15 -0700, George wrote: > I planned on installing ubuntu on a box with a previous Xandros open source > install.
