Well, in a near-perfect world you could set default behavior for replies on a per list basis. For instance PLUG-discuss might get reply-to-list, we-like-our-privacy-thank-you-very-much list might get reply-to-author and PLUG-announce might get reply-to-list-administrator. In a nearer-to-perfect world the list would be able to describe a default in the headers, so each person doesn't have to go configure each list in every mail client they use. Then 'r' or whatever would get 'configured reply' and right-click would bring up the full list of available options. I think mutt can hit the near-perfect world. I don't know about other MUAs. > My preference is to keep it the way it is so that replies are directed > back to list unless intended otherwise. That's what I suggest unless we can determine that the world of MUAs has added the conveinience features to make per list replies configurable. ciao, der.hans, who is finding it hard to type with chop sticks in his hands... -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.AZOTO.org/ # I chose to use the kernel sources as my documentation. ;-) # -- Kevin Buettner --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
