Well, I gave up trying to put Mepis or Debian on my play system and decided to 
put netbsd on it (actually, I forgot I had it until I looked at a slot in my 
bookshelf). So I installed it and it is running (no X). It only has 64 MB of 
RAM and that is the MAX. And so it is going, I get ex0 (eth0) up and I ping 
lo and itself but it won't ping the switch or itself.
ARGHHHHHH
