Actually, it was meant mostly as a joke to get some response. I figured
that at least Paul would complain since he hears me talk about debian all
the time :).

alternative formats
        Some possible alt formats:
                png
                svg
                OO.o formats
		gnumeric format
		gnucash format
		open standards finance formats, e.g. things gnucash imports
                GIMP's native format
                RSS <-- is it really a format?
                dia/kivio formats

I think formats will be more relevant, especially since svg-meister Ted
will be on hand to help us out :).

I will not be able to provide much info on this topic, so there will
definitely be encouragement for audience participation.

If you'd like to take lead on any of the above or other open standards
formats please let me know.

One good question to consider is compatability between Free Software apps.
For instance, can dia and kivio read and write files from each other?

Alternatively, we can cover debian-based distros. I know quite a bit there
and I'm certain there are others who can add a lot to the discussion.
