I certainly don't. Its not your velocity that causes accidents, its inattentiveness on the part of SOMEONE behind the wheel (not necessarily you). I have driven across a great deal of this country, and have racked up many many miles, and I have to say AZ drivers are not the worst. Seriously, Omaha was more dangerous. I was there for 18 hours and was nearly killed 7-8 times because of drivers running redlights, stopping at green, pulling out in their land barges in to traffic without looking, you name it, I saw it. I think Phoenix ranks as #2 behind Omaha. I firmly believe that driving at the speed limit can often be dangerous. How is it safer to drive at 55mph on the freeway, when the main flow of traffic is doing 70? Not only are you endangering yourself, but everyone around you, as well as adding to traffic congestion.
