When my previous employer switched to Dell boxen (at my request, thankfully) I found that virtually every driver the systems needed were pretty much available in the vanilla kernels, but you had to run a recent one (eg: 2.6, not the 2.4 series). Since then, I've found a bit of support popping up on Dell's websites. In particular, they have a Linux website that has Debian information available. You can find out more at http://linux.dell.com/ HTH - -- June Tate * http://www.theonelab.com * june@theonelab.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFBvxUhiLw1iDrV/zwRAszgAJ9KSODh6Or2b4MMX+Bc9T0XZNvV1ACfcNGk hm5bF+8jOBjOOWXic4NmYs0= =ntuo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
