Is that something to check into as > well? ---- RedHat doesn't ship with proprietary drivers - Dell will provide the megaraid drivers and they are obviously well versed in the megaraid drivers - that is clear from the poweredge-linux mail list. The only issue is whether they officially support Debian because unofficial support is clearly evident. Their openmanage software and other monitoring software may not be offered for Debian - or at least not supported. I believe they have been increasing their software support for other than RedHat EL software.
