Hey, this is a nifty tip. 
But only one of these works for me. 

man:whatever works 
info:whatever doesn't work 

I also discovered that I could enter this from a terminal command line as: 
konqueror man:whatever 

I often find it handy to open konqueror to a designated url or file from the 
command line.
