Agreed.

It is not a nexus I have created.  It is an association I have encountered
both online and in person.  Some people have actually expressed to me that
FS/OSS users want everything for free and have no problems copying things
without permission.

I am, however, pleased that my experience may not be as common as I
thought, judging from your comment.
