Trying to move the conversations away.  This list is awfully grumpy this week - everyone must still be hung over from the holiday weekend.

I am curious if anyone has set up an IP phone network with open source software and typical PC hardware.  I have a wireless LAN and was thinking how much better my life would be if I could answer the phone from my wireless laptop.  Anybody have this type of setup out there?  A bit of googling and some portage groping have spawned some leads, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have too.
