I couldn't say for specifically that size ... nor specifically for 
windows.  But I maintain about 200MB of email on an IMAP server from 
many lists and personal communications with Thunderbird.  My Plug folder 
has over 7000 emails ... I probably have another 5-10 folders with mail 
list contents that have about 1000 each (I purge these semi-regularly).

And then tons and tons of sentmail.  All with a fairly intricate folder 
heirarchy.
