Austin, Thanks - I removed the line and I am waiting to see if I get that crazy page again. So far so good. I must confess that I am the numskull who put that line in the /etc/resolv.conf file since I am the only one who has access to this machine. I must have been reading something about resolving addresses and made a typo or mistake. BTW, the under construction page that comes up from pmi.com is **not** the weird search page that I originally reported. I am still unsure as to the source of that page. I will let you know if I get that weird search page again! Thanks PLUG - you are awesome!! Mark Austin Godber wrote: > Mark Phillips wrote: > >> OK, How do I change my name servers or run my own?
