Mike S., i've tried it with putty and winscp3 and no luck on that. I tried it with the ftp service stopped and started. tried it with port 22 (default) and by switching to my other port 3365. no luck. get 'network error connection timed out' with putty and winscp3. i imagine that since lots of ports are blocked i will have to rerouter ssh to a different port, but not sure how to do that on the server side. on the client side it's easy enough. by the way i'm serisouly considering switching isp's. i've tried quest and my lines are bad so no dsl for me. btw which isp do you use? if you don't mind me asking. -Mike H. --- Michael Sammartano wrote: > This problem is actually easier to fix than you > think..
