I'm certain there's a driver for the S3 Trio card as I used to use one :). I'm pretty sure Creative released a driver for the 'Live' soundcard ( they paid someone from the Free Software community to write it ), but I'm not sure if there's a Free Software driver, so you might have to download a binary driver or use a different card. Dunno on the modem. I hate modems. :) If it's not a WinModem it should be OK. If the kernel has drivers then Fedora should work just fine. Maybe try using a Knoppix CD on the box first and seeing if it detects and can use all the hardware. ciao, der.hans -- # https://www.LuftHans.com/ http://www.AZOTO.org/ # Whenever I hear anyone arguing for slavery, I feel a strong impulse to # see it tried on him personally. -- Abraham Lincoln --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
