From Slashdot, I went to Sourceforge where I can see the .png and .jpg images. Went to ThinkGeek and can see .gif and .jpg images. Various gardening sites I visit have a lot of .jpg images and I can see those, as well as the .gif and .jpg link images . Clicking on a lot of my bookmarked pages, I don't see any other broken image links, besides Slashdot's, except at drudgereport where he has a lot of pop-unders that are blocked in my /etc/hosts file. But I can see other .jpg images there.
