Hello, This past week both my wife's, and her best friend's, computers went belly up. My wife's is due to motherboard problems as it will POST but refuses to boot from any device whether floppy/HD/CDROM. And her friends computer is a p150/48mb/2gb whose HD was wiped out by a virus. My wife has medical problems and has been off of work for about 6 months. Otherwise I would by new parts. Her friend was layed off about 2months ago and will be going back to work in about a week, but can't afford a new computer and she is attending UOP Online - So I am trying to help her out. I was given a generous donation of 2 PII-400 processors and several sticks of memory by a friend. But now I need to track down a pair of Slot 1 Motherboards that will work with PII-400's. Anybody have anything gathering dust that they would be willing let go of? I do have some hardware I could trade, but most of it dates from the 90's i.e. - (1) p200/96mb/1gb // (1) p133/32mb/500mb // assorted 10mb nics // misc video cards. On a related note; Due to my wife's health I am trying to find part-time jr-sys-admin type work. I can supply a resume on request. Thank you in advance for any assitance you may be able to provide. --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
