Apologies to everyone for the verification emails.  I
subscribed using the
wrong address.  I've remedied that and you will not
see any more of them.
I don't really consider it overly aggressive.  I just
figure if someone
really wants to contact me, they won't mind a little
work to get their
message through.  Since I installed said software
(about 4 months ago), only
2 or 3 emails from spammers have actually made it to
my inbox.
