Okay so is this the right thing to have done: I downloaded an openMosix kernel patch (http://openmosix.sourceforge.net/), unpacked it, and then: bmike1@0[bmike1]$ su Password: root@0[bmike1]# patch -p1 /home/bmike1/Documents/Programs/Mosix\ /kernel/openMosix-2.4.22-3 but I must be doing something wrong since it hangs. Gee, I just found out about: bmike1@1[bmike1]$ lskpatches PatchID Arch KVers dhkpVers dhkp-KVers openmosix i386 all 0.99.27 2.4.22 2.4.21 2.4.20\ 2.4.19 2.4.18 bmike1@1[bmike1]$ and it appears that I already have the openMosix patch. Is this correct? So I'm looking at a bootup error and it says that, concerning Mosix it can't find the directory /proc/hpc. the kernel isn't openMosix enabled Configuration is ABORTED So then, how do I apply the patch? -- <:-)Mike(-:> This message has been scanned for viruses by the VEI Internet Automatic Email Spam and Virus Scanner, and is believed to be free of spam or viruses.
