I haven't tried it exactly like this, yet, but there are 2 suggestions I have that might make things a bit...happier? 1st is varsha: http://varsha.sf.net oooh, it makes making dvd's *so* much easier. it also creates a dvdauthor xml file so you can tweak the final layout in ways that varsha doesn't support yet. Also, the best tutorial I've seen so far for making dvd on *only* linux is at: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=117709&highlight=dvd+author Caution: alot of it you can ignore if you are using varsha. i.e. Making the menus, etc. I think between the 2 links about you might get want you want.
