This is an good release, in my opinion. I do have a couple of comments for incoporation in the next release round. Alexander Henry said: > The Phoenix Linux User's Group (PLUG) and the Arizona Open Technology --[clip]-- The PLUG logo displays the "official" name of the group: Phoenix Linux User Group. No "'s" on User. When the latest logo was created there was much discussion as to what name wording was appropriate. "Phoenix Linux User Group" is descriptive with Group as the main subject. "Phoenix Linux User's Group" is possessive with a single user possessing the group. It should be "Phoenix Linux Users' Group" if there is to be more than one user possessing the group, but it would be confusing to say and print. So, the descriptive wording was chosen. (That is my memory's nutshell history of the dicussion at the time.) Anyway, the name is without the "'s" --[clip]-- > Hewlett-Packard, confusion raised by the recent lawsuits by SCO against --[clip]-- I would change the words "by the recent lawsuits by SCO" to "by recent court actions" or something like that. In fact, I would remove any reference to confusion and lawsuits. Just say something like "increasing interest in the main-stream press." In any case, don't give SCO any more publicity by mentioning them. --[clip]-- > discussion. Unlike many other computer user groups, LUGs also provide > the same functions as a "regional office" for IBM, Macintosh, > Microsoft, or Sun; they have the responsibility to train, support, and --[clip]-- This part confused me a bit as it sounds like the LUG is a regional office for the companies mentioned. Maybe "the same functions normally provided by the regional offices of large corporations;" would work. --[clip]-- > in Tempe. PLUG membership is free and anyone may join, and also > welcomes users and fans of all Free Software and Open Source Software > such as GNU and FreeBSD. --[clip]-- Change to "...anyone may join. PLUG also welcomes..." --[clip]-- > The Arizona Open Technology Organization (AZOTO) is an Arizona based > non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the use of Free Software --[clip]-- I don't know if we can say AZOTO is non-profit since it is not officially organized as such, yet. Hans can answer that concern. Thanks for the work on the Installfest!
