I did an upgrade from CD today (again, on a copied partition so I wouldn't loose anything). Major problems: NVidia driver compiles but will not run (driver from nvidia 5336), had to use the nv driver. Apt doesn't work - missing rpm shared libraries. Other problems: There was another warning message that popped up when gnome started. I don't have the time to track down those kind of problems. I've been using redhat since I started w/ linux. I hate to abandon it now but doing a fresh install with each new version is getting old. Not to mention learning new apps because my favorites are no longer supported. I think I'm going to give them some time and see if the video driver and apt issues get resolved. I'm still bummed...
