I have 415 messages in my que how. Can I force these out? What is happeing is that the current messages are being delivered but I would like to force the old ones out, is it safe to force these out or should I just let postfix handle qued mail in its normail fasion? I have max_servers set to 6 and smtp-amavis set to 6 as well and my free memory and processsor utilization is doing fine but it seems postfix is not sending these messages out fast enough Jim > On Mon, 17 May 2004 elemint@theriver.com wrote: > >> I have postfix installed on Debian how can I check how many emails are >> in >> the que, I am using postfix and amavisd-new. > > postqueue -p > > And I suppose a way to count the number of messages could be: > > postqueue -p | grep ^[0-9] | wc -l > --------------------------------------------------- > PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: > http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss > --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
