I even went outside portage and grabbed the latest XFree86 source files and the latest DRI source files. Everything compiled and ran fine, but still no go on 3D acceleration. Under Knoppix 3.3, this hardware does 3D accel perfectly. So, obviously, I need to get the right combination of kernel version plus module versions. I'll see if I can get to that point under gentoo. ----------- Thanks for the help! ...Kevin --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
