Arrgh, I am starting to volunteer somewhere else, and the 'day' is Saturday's 10am - 2pm. Arrgh. Oh, well. Since I am 'new', skipping the first second Saturday I am at it isn't kosher on anything you do. Hopefully, this will be fruitful and enjoyable for me. This is 'manning' an M$ ExPee community computer lab. It is a 'new' day for it, will see how it goes. Unfortunately, I am NOT allowed to run Linux!! Arrrrrrgh! Oh, well. Once I get my 'foot in the door' so to speak, I will see if I can haul in a box/keyboard/moose and use one of their monitors for a demo..without connecting to the 'outside' world. Hum, I do have ability to get the 15 inch there by trike.. hum. Maybe able to demo and etc. I WILL mention to everyone that shows..hopefully some will!! That you are having an installfest and explain to any interested that IF they have enough space on the home puter if they have one, then they can dual boot and how that works. And naturally, that you are doing free installs!!! Yes, the 'gift' system, with 15" monitor and k6-2 333 could survive the ride there and back, hum. So, I guess, at least for the first 'last Saturday', I will not be there!! EC Ed Culbertson Wish I could be both places at once. --- George Gambill wrote: > Alexander, > > The CrossOver box is an AMD 2000 > > The Samba 3.0 is the 800 Intel > > The LTSP is an AMD 1800 (I think) > > Not sure what spacewalkers is. > > George > > > -----Original Message----- > > Date: Fri, 07 May 2004 19:03:16 -0700 > > Subject: Re: Installfest, last Saturday of the > month > > From: Alexander Henry > > > > On Fri, 7 May 2004 16:08:13 -0700, George Gambill > > wrote: > > > > > Alexander, > > > > > > I have a RH box with CrossOver running MS Office > Suite (2000 with > > > Outlook) which might provide a comfort zone > stretcher for any suits > > > dropping by.
