Mike, Some of the main programs that I use are "Netbeans" and "J-Builder" you can get both with the latest J2SE SDK 1.4.whatever. By getting the developer environment and SDK together it just makes life easier. :) Netbeans http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download-netbeans.html Ben -----Original Message----- From: plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us [mailto:plug-discuss-admin@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us] On Behalf Of Michael Havens Sent: Sunday, May 09, 2004 7:40 PM To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Subject: JAVA I just bought a "Learn Java...." book. The CD that comes with this book has a "developer's kit (compiler, debugger and interpreter)", "API documentation", and the "Java language". What do I need to download or else should I just take the book back? -- <:-)Mike(-:> This message has been scanned for viruses by the VEI Internet Automatic Email Spam and Virus Scanner, and is believed to be free of spam or viruses.
