I used parted to reorganize my primary disk on which
I had several interleaved Win98/FAT32 and EXT2 partitions,
after Microsoft FDISK and Partition Magic both screwed up
the job.  It was no problem adding some more space
to the end of a FAT32 partition.  Hopefully the same
can be done with NTFS.

I was able to move the upper boundary of the main
Win32 boot partition which was FAT32.  I copied content
of the upper partitions to another disk to be cautious,
but parted seems to be just fine with moving things
around.

So I'm guessing that the same should be true of an NTFS
partition, and that you should be able to add the available
space to the end of the one partition.  If you're safely
backed up, I'd say just give it a try.  Really, parted was
a pleasure to work with.
