I have been struggling all day to come up with a
clean way to query my database (mysql) and print
more than one record (4 in this case) per sheet.

I have a nice perl script to manage one records per sheet.
but now I need a way to print more than one.

Ideally, I'd like to come up with a way that scales
well. For instance, although my needs are only 4 per sheet
(mailing out postcard size), I'd like to quickly reformat
to print to some avery mailing labels...

I tried perl format's, but I was having problems positioning
the text to the right (example below)..
format STDOUT =
@<<<<<<<<<<<				@<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
$name1					$name2
etc,
.

I have also played with enscript but have failed to come up
with the winning combiniation of options.
