Okay fellas, 1- You dial in to the internet with wvdial. 2- You do what you need to do. 3- You kill the PID for wvdial to disconnect. 4- PROBLEM: 4a- It automatically reconnects. 5- SOLUTION: 5a- Before it reconnects pick the receiver up so it does not detect a dial tone. 6- New discovery: 6a- Put a slash at the beginning of the line and it won't try to reconnect. I type in '/sudo kill PID' and it replies 'Caught signal 15! Attempting to exit gracefully...'
