I would like to make my usually plug for Cygwin right now.. If functionality is more important over performance, Cygwin is definitely *the* winner. Also, Cygwin packages are constantly being upgraded for security reasons. I am, for instance, running OpenSSH client and server on my XP box at home. On that same box I run fetchmail, WU-IMAP, Apache, Postgresql, etc, etc, etc. All these are packages built into the Cygwin install. Again, the only down side is the Microsoft Services for Unix seems a little 'faster' in most operations.. not a lot but it is noticeable. --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
