Ipcop is a fork of Smoothwall, both of which are firewall specific distributions. I use Smoothwall at home and it does not have any email handling programs on it. It's a firewall/filter, not an email server or email client. I assume Ipcop has a similar targeted use. If you want to run email stuff on your firewall box (something many would recommend against), look at Clark Connect (http://clarkconnect.com). I use their Red Hat based distro for my email server, with Spamassassin. It has all the stuff to easily configure as a firewall too. If you have high bandwidth, just download the network install boot floppy and it will pull the rest from the net as it installs. BTW, my email server, Clark Connect box is a 233MHz pentium with 64MB of RAM. Spamassassin bogs it down at times. I would strongly recommend more powerful hardware than what I have for more then just a few users. In fact, I'd like something more for my own box.
