Currently, I have a KT133 chipset motherboard with a 1GHz Athlon. This is my house server. Everything was going well, but I couldn't get MythTV working. After doing some reading I discovered that the ivtv driver has problems with this chipset. I borrowed a computer from a friend and was able to get MythTV working with no problems (it was an Intel based MB). Could I simply recompile my kernel with the necessary options for a new motherboard, and then swap it out (assuming it is the same drive /dev/hde)? Or am I missing something? --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
