Alan, Minicom is not unacceptable, I am looking for as many alternatives as possible. I heard of one called ci, but have been unable to find anything out about it, it is suppoed to be part of some package. Choices, it's all about choices. Thanks to everyone for there 2 cents, we might get a dollar out of this one. anthony From: Alan Dayley Date: 2004/02/17 Tue AM 10:59:49 EST To: plug-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us Subject: Re: Console programs in Linux tickticker wrote: > And I do now know about minicom, thank you. > > anthony OK, I'm confused. The first progam I thought of that works really well for what you describe is minicom. But here you imply that minicom is not a acceptable solution. I don't think I understand your requirements correctly. Why is minicom un-acceptable? Or, are you just looking for additional alternatives to minicom?
