Let me know if you're interested, I'll have to dig > the script up. Thx for the offer -- I'll keep it in mind. For the moment it looks like I have enough to do a little demo and gauge their interest. I can show them KTouch on my more modern laptop running Mandrake and show them that these old machines can run Linux. I'm sure they would be happy with a simple text pad compared to looking at a blank screen with no feedback. And, if they say go, I'll wipe windows off the machine and install onto the harddrive. Besides, I have to get my hands on a raft of power adapters and sort thru the rest of the hardware before this will mean much... Jeff
