Dennis you've got good points, I'm reading Eric Raymond's "Art of Unix 
Programming" now, it definitely shows the technical reasons why the Unix 
Way is better... and those *do* come out at the user end of things.

While we're not trying to change anyone's religion, we are seeking a new 
viewpoint.

A little fervor is justified.  Perhaps  "To find more about why Free and 
Open Source Software is better, see http://www....."
