Hmmm. I disagree with some of this, but it's not important. Basically, = you need to identify the actual demarcation point. It's not necessarily = the NIU/Smartjack. It could be three floors up terminated on a surface = mount RJ48 type interface. Looping up/back the NIU only tests the cable = pairs to the NIU, no further.
