don't know you, but general advice would be;
take out any body piercings you may have b4 going to see the g/f.  cover 
any tatoos., don't honk the horn - go to the door.
ie, be an 'eddy haskell' to the mom ( " gee mrs ________ you look great 
today ;-) )
