However, I don't think this would be a= =20 problem. 1- My employer and a significant percentage of the management are engineers= =20 themselves. 2- They are great people. 3- I discuss, in general terms and on friendly grounds any "outside" work o= r=20 hobby projects I am doing. 4- If they think there is a conflict, we talk about it more formally. 5- We are all happy. I get to do things on my own time. My employer gets = a=20 more rounded, happy employee. I know that 1 and 2 are not always possible (I've been there). But, 3 is g= ood=20 to do if there is even a shade of possible conflict.
