I am using redhat 9 on my home server. I share via NFS my moneydance data directory across 2 machines. However file locking doesn't seem to work. I just got my wife's machine moved over to redhat 9 and she will be using moneydance instead of quicken. File locking does seem to work when both users try to access the same file on one machine, but both users are logged into the same machine when this happens. I read somewhere that file locking isn't supported with NFS. I find that hard to believe though. Can someone set me straight? -- Anthony Hologounis "Take it friend.
