Thomas Rd, Scottsdale The Muse worked quite nicely for the GNU/Linux Stammtisch last month, so we're there again this month. What: GNU/Linux Stammtisch When: Tue, 16Dez2003, 19:00 Where: 1032 S. Terrace Rd., Tempe There is no west side meeting at GCC this month due to GCC closing before the meeting would start. Watch the discuss list or the PLUG web site to see if an informal gathering gets planned. There is also no AzPHP meeting planned this month. There is rumor that there will be an informal gathering the on the regular night. Watch the AzPHP list for more details. January events: We also have several things planned for January. There will be an organizational meeting for west side events. If you're interested in helping build the GNU/Linux community on the west side of the valley please plan on attending. AZOTO is planning a celebration to mark 20 years of GNU. That's right campers, the GNU project turns 20 in in January. AZOTO is also planning a geek-ride for January. We're still working out details. This event will likely be open to cars and trucks as well as motorcycles. Watch the discuss mailing list and PLUG web site for further info on the January events. The devel group is considering moving to monthly meetings in 2004 as well. A lot of interesting topics have been suggested and we already have a few presenters who've volunteered.
