Well, I am happy.  I finally got Mandrake 9.1 fully operational on my
machine.  The only think I had a hard time getting to work was the
modem, and that was because I had to compile new drivers for that on my
own.  I am so proud of myself :)

Anyways, we can now add one more linux user (formerly Windows) to the
list.  Now that I got linux running 100%, there will never be any going
back for me :)

My next question is, does anyone know how to get an HP Photosmart 320
Digital Camera to work with Linux?  Would love it if there was someone
out there who knew :)  Let me know.
