Reading the discussions about Qwest VDSL, or "Qwest Choice OnLine" as their
web site describes the service, it sounds pretty good.

However, looking at their availability page,
http://www.qwest.com/vdsl/phoenix/availability.html there's a big hole where
the city of Tempe should be located.  :-)

I just called to ask about availability in the Tempe area, and the rep
didn't know why it's not available in Tempe, or when it might be.  He made
it sound like a contract issue, where they couldn't offer it in Tempe.

So, does anyone have any info on this?  Is it just a matter of them needing
to upgrade some facilities in Tempe, and not getting around to it yet, or
something more sinister?  :-)
