try fics the free internet chess server. not as many features as icc, but definitely useable. -----Original Message----- From: Carl Parrish Sent: Nov 29, 2003 12:00 PM To: Plug-discuss Subject: Head to Head Chess Okay this may be considered OT (perhaps we should have a plug-games list). I want to teach my gf chess. I love the way in xboard with gnuchess I can save and analyze moves play back and show where mistakes are made etc... I've got a lan at home so I figure it would be trivial to play with her and then go over the games we play. How ever so far the only way I see around this is to get us both set up on a pay IRC server and play. Not that I'm closed on this option but I'm thinking there *has* to be a way I can do this for free. Anyone have any suggestions? -- Carl Parrish (cparrish@carlparrish.com) http://www.carlparrish.com --- Registered Linux User #295761 http://counter.li.org --------------------------------------------------- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.plug.phoenix.az.us To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change you mail settings: http://lists.PLUG.phoenix.az.us/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
