Switched to FreeBSD 4.9 at the ASULUG installfest.  All goes well (haven't 
tried to wedge the Linux Samsung laser-printer drivers on yet), except that the 
system has began to switch my monitor off for inactivity very fast (maybe 
every 10 minutes).  This makes using the TV card a real joy; get up three times 
per programme to wiggle the mouse

Also the close-X-server keystroke suspends the system.  Ugh. 

I thought turning off the power-save for the server would do the trick; it 
didn't.  I think it's an OS-level setting, but I have no idea where to look

BTW where do you get a cute little badge?  I got my penguin one from a 
second-hand copy of Heretic II for Linux
